The health and safety of our employees and those we conduct business with is our number one priority at Upsher-Smith, which is why we have enforced several preventive measures to protect our people from the virus. These include requiring all employees who can work remote to do so and strengthening safety and cleaning measures in the areas where our essential on-site workers continue to perform their regular duties.
At this time, the ability of our suppliers to deliver product has not been affected; however, we continue to re-evaluate our inventory at all points in the supply chain to determine if we need to increase any of these levels to ensure consistent supply. As the situation evolves, Upsher-Smith will engage our customers in real time if we encounter any challenges or have any additional concerns.
The Upsher-Smith sales team is maintaining its relationships with our physician customers through remote communications. Since the pandemic began, they have ramped up their “virtual office visits” with healthcare professionals to ensure physical distancing and to offer physicians flexibility with their own schedules during these exceptionally demanding times.
