- The Application Process—If you have found a job opportunity that interests you on our website, you may submit your resume via e-mail to Human Resources at uslhr@Upsher-Smith.com and list the position you are interested in on the subject line. - The Resume Evaluation Process—The Upsher-Smith recruiting team will evaluate your qualifications and experience for the opportunity for which you applied. If your background meets the requirements for the position and we believe your background may be well suited for the opportunity available, we will contact you for more information.
- The Interview Process—We contact candidates that best meet the specific experience and education requirements for the position. Typically, an initial screening is conducted, such as a phone interview. If it is identified through our initial screening that you are qualified for the position, we will invite you to come in for an on-site interview. During the interview, you will meet with the hiring manager, a member of Human Resources, and a variety of other employees on the interview and selection team. This assessment does take some time because we want to make sure that we have a good understanding of what you can bring to Upsher-Smith and to allow you time to assess whether Upsher-Smith will meet your career interests.
- The Hiring Process—The interview team will evaluate final candidates for a specific position and make a decision to offer employment. Post offer, a drug test or physical may be required as well as a background and reference check.
- The Selection Process—The selection process can take approximately four weeks; however, this varies based on candidate availability, the type and level of position involved, and whether the search is being conducted on a national basis.
